Church marks 60 years

DOWNEY – The Moravian Church of Downey will celebrate its 60th anniversary this Sunday, June 8, with a special worship service featuring the Moravian Trombone Choir at 10:30 a.m. and a luncheon celebration to follow. “We are celebrating 60 years of ‘sharing the love of Christ’ through worship, fellowship and service in Downey,” church officials said.
