Assistance League installs president

DOWNEY – Florence Towers was recently installed as president of the Assistance League of Downey. Her executive board includes Willie McFarland, first VP; Joan Frey, second VP; Adele Alexander, third VP; Linda Kriss, secretary; and Judy Faust, treasurer.

The installation ceremony took place at Rio Hondo Event Center. Marian Curtis was in charge of the program.
