Assemblywoman hosting walk and talk

MONTEBELLO − Assemblywoman Cristina Garcia will host her next “walk and talk” with constituents this Saturday at Montebello City Park. The walk begins at 8 a.m. Special guests include Esperanza Ortega and William Valenzuela, who run Hook Up Internet Cafe and Resource Center in Montebello.

The company offers resume help, job search services, textbook loans, art and music lessons, and more.

The walk is an informal setting for residents to share ideas and ask questions about local or statewide issues.

Walkers should meet at the park’s veterans memorial. The park is located at 1300 W. Whittier Blvd. in Montebello.
