Slow mail service

Dear Editor:I can't believe the mail carrier just delivered my mail and it's 8:45 p.m. I don't understand. With most people emailing and texting, paying bills online, why are they always running late? On Friday, I heard the mail carrier on the cell phone say to the other person, "You can call me but I can't call out." Then on Sunday, the neighbor is bringing my mail to my house...ooops! I also noticed when it rains, they are never running late. In fact, they are here so early I can't believe my eyes. Margie Gutierrez Downey
