Groundbreaking ceremony

City officials held a groundbreaking ceremony Tuesday to signal the start of construction on Firestone Boulevard. The $4.2 million project calls for new roadways and medians from Brookshire Avenue to Old River School Road, along with decorative sidewalks and landscaping in the downtown area.
