Chorus to perform Broadway tunes

BELLFLOWER – The Bellflower Civic Chorus will open its 2014 season with “Broadway Rhythm” May 16-18 at the William Bristol Theater. The chorus will pay tribute to Broadway’s musical theater. Chosen for the concert are popular medleys from “Fiddler on the Roof,” “South Pacific,” “My Fair Lady” and “Phantom of the Opera,” among others.

The chorus will perform arranged music, along with soloists and duets. The show will also feature specialty numbers and dancing by the Headliners.

Performances are at 2:30 p.m. daily May 16-18. Admission is $5.
