Downey High School principal Tom Houts and assistant VP Anthony Zegarra followed through on a promise last Friday to shave their heads if students raised more than $1,000 for fellow student Mario Galvan, who is battling lymphoma. Students sold T-shirts and beanies to reach their fundraising goal.
