Tickets still available for author's luncheon

DOWNEY - The Friends of the Downey City Library will host three romance authors at their annual Author's Luncheon on June 1 from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Rio Hondo Event Center.Authors Debra Holland ("Wild Montana Sky"), Linda O. Johnston ("Undercover Wolf") and Laura Drake ("The Sweet Spot") will discuss and sign their books. A buffet luncheon will feature an English tea theme. Reservations can be placed through May 25 at the Friend's Book Store inside the library and cost $25 with each guest receiving a copy of one of the author's novels.
