Senior talent show

Dear Editor:Attending the Downey Senior Follies on Sunday, June 30, at the Barbara J. Riley Community and Senior Center was a delightful experience. The performances were very entertaining with a nice variety. The film industry-themed decorations on the walls and as centerpieces were also well presented. The comedic antics of the talented mistress of ceremonies, Lorraine Lowery, contributed greatly to the show's content and success . Our afternoon at this well-organized program in a comfortable, cool environment was enjoyable in every way. A thank-you is extended to all those who made this happen.
