Safe place for fireworks

Dear Editor:I've basically lived in Downey all my life but wanted to ask the question: is there an empty city lot where families can go and set off their safe and sane fireworks in order to be safe from traffic or from angry neighbors that get irritated from the Picaloo Petes?
