Physician to discuss diabetes

CERRITOS - Dr. Charles Kung of Pioneer Medical Group will lead a seminar on diabetes at the Cerritos Senior Center on July 24 starting at 1 p.m.Kung will discuss the complications many diabetics experience when their blood sugar is not controlled. He will also offer tips on how to lower your risk for complications and prevent damage to your heart, kidney, eyes and nerves. Guests will also learn health habits to help live a longer life with diabetes. The seminar is free and open to adults ages 50 and older.
