Osteoporosis screenings offered

DOWNEY - Stroke and osteoporosis screening packages will be sold at the Woman's Club of Downey on June 21.The packages are offered by Life Line Screening and begin at $159. Screenings identify potential cardiovascular conditions such as blocked arteries and irregular heart rhythm, abdominal aortic aneurysms, and hardening of the arteries in the legs, which is a predictor of heart disease.
