Hunger walk set for October

DOWNEY - The 2013 Downey CROP Hunger Walk will take place Oct. 13, organizers have announced.Registration will begin at 1 p.m. at Moravian Church of Downey, followed by a rally at 1:30 and the walk at 2. Last year, nearly 200 participants raised almost $10,00 to benefit local and global hunger relief initiatives.
