'Gold, Guns & Girls' at Stay Gallery

DOWNEY - Stay Gallery will host its first solo exhibit by a female artist when it hosts a New York native who goes by the name of Changes.The exhibit, titled "Gold, Guns & Girls," opens Friday night, May 17, at 8 p.m. "I titled this show after my favorite song by the band Metric," said Changes. The exhibit is sponsored by Pacific Fish Grill and Soroptimist International of Downey, a service club that works to improve the lives of women and girls in local community and throughout the world. "Though many women have exhibited their work through the gallery, this is the first time that we have an individual show for a very talented and aspiring female artist," said Gabriel Enamorado, creative director for Stay Gallery. "Gold, Guns & Girls" will be on exhibit through May 29.
