Florence Towers

The Assistance League of Downey installed its new officers at a recent luncheon at the Rio Hondo Event Center. Florence Towers, pictured here, was installed as president.

Other new officers include Adele Alexander (first vice president), Joan Frey (second vice president), Carol Steyer (third vice president), Beverly Young (secretary) and Judy Faust (treasurer).

The program was presented by Marian Curtis, who highlighted the history of the League and some of the changes that have occurred over the years.
