Doctor to talk osteoporosis

CERRITOS - Dr. Jenny Tai of Pioneer Medical Group will discuss osteoporosis at a free seminar Wednesday at 1 p.m. inside the Cerritos Senior Center.Osteoporosis can strike at any age, but the risk increases as you get older. It is a disease that thins and weakens bones to the point where they break easily, especially bones in the hip, spine and wrists. Dr. Tai will discuss osteoporosis and explain why it's called the "silent disease." The seminar is free and open to adults ages 50 and older.
