Bellflower church hosting festival

BELLFLOWER - St. George Coptic Orthodox Church will host its annual festival May 17-19 on its Bellflower campus.Each day will begin with the celebration of the Divine Liturgy starting at 8 a.m., following praises and glorification for St. George. The festival will feature Middle Eastern cuisine, church choir performances, artwork, children activities and more, and will offer a glimpse of the ancient Egyptian Coptic Christian culture. The festival will be held from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., May 17-18, and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. May 19. Admission and parking are free. For more information, call (562) 866-6668 or go to mystgeorge.org.
