Barbecue to support symphony

DOWNEY â?? Supporters of the Downey Symphony are planning an all-you-can-eat â??beach party barbecueâ?? July 16 at the Rio Hondo Event Center with proceeds benefiting the symphonyâ??s Music in the Schools program.Cost if paid in advance is $22 for adults and $12 for children ages 4-11. Price at the door is $25. Checks should be made payable to Downey Symphony Guild and mailed to Downey Symphony Guild, 9700 Garnish Dr., Downey CA 90240.
