Louise Bieschke

Our Lady of Perpetual Help School honored nonprofit worker Louise Bieschke during a recognition breakfast Jan. 29 as part of Catholic Schools Week. Bieschke is an outreach manager with CASA/LA, a nonprofit that works with Los Angeles foster youth. She oversees volunteer recruitment and public speaking engagements. "I never expected to receive such an honor," Bieschke said. "We don't do the work we do in order to get thanks, but when people come together and notice the help you've given, it's always very rewarding."
