Women’s Guild launches community grant program for Downey non-profits

DOWNEY — The Women’s Guild has introduced this year’s Community Grant Program, dedicated to supporting Downey-based nonprofit organizations, as well as the ministries and schools of St. Raymond Catholic Church and St. Dominic Savio Catholic Church.

Eligible organizations are encouraged to apply for grants by submitting proposals outlining their projects, goals and anticipated impact.

Applications opened Feb. 14 and close on March 31.

Any Downey-based nonprofit, ministry or school affilied with St. Raymond and St. Dominic Savio is welcome to apply, provided their project aligns with the Guild’s values and objectives. Grants range from $300 to $1,000 and will be awarded by May 31.
