Whittier senior complex taking applications

WHITTIER – The Oakmont of Whittier, a new luxury retirement community for seniors, is now taking applications for future tenants. The 70,000 sq. ft. property is currently under construction at 13617 Whittier Blvd.

When completed in the spring, the two-story complex will offer 51 assisted-living and 19 “memory care” apartments. Residents will enjoy three gourmet meals per day, in addition to concierge services, an onsite movie theater, and full-size fitness center.

There will also be activity rooms, a salon and day spa, vegetable garden, and pet park.
