Water symposium Wednesday

DOWNEY – The city of Downey is hosting a Water conservation Symposium this Wednesday, Nov. 19, from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at the Barbara Riley Center. City officials will discuss state and local water use restrictions; provide an update on the state drought; and offer details on water rebate opportunities.

There will also be a question-and-answer session with the public.

The first 100 people in attendance will receive a free re-usable water conservation bottle courtesy of the Central Basin Municipal Water District.
