Warren High theater students to perform 'Things My Mother Taught Me'

DOWNEY –  Warren High theater students will perform the whimsical comedy “Things My Mother Taught Me” by Katherine Di Savino Feb. 25 through March 5 in the school’s Emerson Theatre. 

Performances are Thursday through Saturday at 7:30 p.m. 

“Things My Mother Taught Me” follows Gabe Keegan and Olivia Lawson, a young, spirited couple who just moved from New York to Chicago to start their new life together. You can imagine their astonishment when Mr. and Mrs. Keegan, and well as Mr. and Mrs. Lawson, show up unannounced to give their kids a hand with moving day. 

The play has been called “hilarious and touching. This play will make you laugh out loud and fall in love all over again...one piece of furniture at a time.”
