Warren band to march 6 miles

DOWNEY - Warren High School's band and color guard are participating in a "march-a-thon" fundraiser Aug. 24 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.Students will march six miles throughout the city while playing their instruments. They're scheduled to stop at several local businesses that have sponsored their fundraiser. It's not too late to donate. Donations should be mailed to Warren High School, attention Dave Niemeyer, 8141 De Palma St., Downey CA 90241.
