Walter Gelder services Saturday

CUDAHY – Walter Gelder was born in Long Beach on March 28, 1936. He passed away Aug. 6.

He lived in Cudahy for more than 33 years, and was an active volunteer with the city. 

He leaves behind two daughters, Debby Flores and Mary Gelder; a sister, Mary Stowell; and grandchildren and great-grandchildren. 

Services will be held at St. Raymond Catholic Church in Downey at 10 a.m. on Aug. 22.
