Volunteers needed for hospital disaster drill

DOWNEY - Downey Regional Medical Center and Rancho Los Amigos National Rehabilitation Center are seeking volunteers to participate in a disaster drill on June 10 from 7 a.m. to noon.The drill will take place on both hospital campuses. Approximately 40 volunteers are needed to portray disaster victims who may be severely ill or injured. Volunteers will be asked to sign a consent form acknowledging their permission to participate and also to take their picture for training purposes. Parental consent forms are required for any minors participating. A continental breakfast and lunch will be provided to volunteers.
