Veterans Day’s ceremony Nov. 11

DOWNEY – The city of Downey will hold its annual Veterans Day ceremony Tuesday, Nov. 11, at 10 a.m. near the veterans memorial located in the civic center. The ceremony will feature a patriotic performance by the Warren High Jazz Band and participation from American Legion Post No. 270, the Living Tree Foundation, Boy Scout Troop No. 441 and Cub Scout Pack No. 805.

Free refreshments will be provided by the Downey Lions Club.
