Valenzuela joins Air Force

SAN ANTONIO - Air Force Airman Brian Valenzuela has completed basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Tex.Valenzuela completed an intensive 8-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills. He also earned four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force. The son of Downey resident Diana Valenzuela, he graduated from Warren High School in 2009.
