Young Explorers Academy, Dec. 3, 11 a.m.: Join the space center as it discovers how the calendar came to be, and why we use it (including why the analog clock is still used today to tell time).
For ages 3-5, parent participation required.
Girl Scouts Workshop, Dec. 10, 2 p.m.: Sign up your Girl Scout today to earn a one-of-a-kind patch that can only be earned at the space center.
Family Game Night, Dec. 16, 6:30 p.m.: Enjoy activities, games, demonstrations, and more with the entire family.
Teacher Workshop, Dec. 17, 10 a.m.: Use baking ingredients to whip up a moon-like crater as a demonstration for students. This activity works in classrooms, camps and at home.
Presented by a JPL instructor, this workshop is geared for teachers in grades 1-6. Free but pre-registration is required.
Junior Explorers Academy, Dec. 17, 11 a.m.: Learn about some of the basic functions of the human body, like how many bones we have, how they connect, DNA and the function of lungs.
For ages 6-8, parent participation required.
