Tomato, pepper sale at Downey High

DOWNEY - Downey High School botany will host its fifth annual tomato and pepper plant sale next month.Sixty varieties of tomatoes and 40 types of peppers will be for sale at $2.50 each or five plants for $10. Shoppers should bring a box for their plants. Sale dates are March 16, 23 and 30 from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on the Downey High campus.
