Toastmasters open to new members

DOWNEY - Residents interested in improving their communication and speaking skills are invited to attend a Downey Toastmasters meeting.Meetings are held every Tuesday at 6 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Downey in room 116. The Toastmasters Club can help residents overcome their fears of public speaking, improve their job interview skills and provide inspiration for more effective business presentations.
