DOWNEY – January 1, 2021 began a milestone year for TLD Law.

TLD Law is a full service law firm dedicated to serving clients that share its core values of efficiency, innovation and effective results. Established 60 years ago in Downey, the firm provides expertise in a wide variety of practice areas including business law, corporate, employment law, estate planning, family law, civil litigation, probate, real estate, taxation and trust administration.

TLD Law attorneys are committed to not only serving their clients but to serving the Southern California community through their extensive community involvement.

Their attorneys serve as leaders in a number of charitable, community and educational institutions throughout Southern California.

Harold Tredway, the firm’s founder, retired in 1984 but the law firm continued its operations with the same values at heart. Among those which might be more important today than ever before, is to espouse diversity and inclusion.

The firm’s uniqueness lies in its diversity – not only in the makeup of its team of highly qualified and educated professionals from diverse backgrounds, but also in its corporate culture and DNA. In 2017, TLD Law became a majority female owned law firm, and in 2018, became a member of the National Association of Minority and Women Owned Law Firms. TLD Law prides itself on its majority female ownership and those who are members of diverse communities including LGBTQ, ethnic (Hispanic, Asian, Indian) and hearing-impaired.

To honor each decade of serving the community, TLD Law will be paying tribute to six charities in 2021. The firm will announce the charities throughout the year and host an event to pay tribute to each of them toward the end of the year.

To kick off the firm’s charity initiative, TLD Law will make a donation to Working Wardrobes, an organization TLD Law has worked closely with for many years. Working Wardrobes assists those who have overcome difficult challenges on their journey to meaningful employment, including substance abuse, domestic violence, incarceration, homelessness and military to civilian transition. Facing many challenges in 2020, Working Wardrobes tragically lost its headquarters and inventory to a fire in February.

This year, the organization celebrates its 30th year, and in honor of that, will be hosting an event titled 30 Strong! from March 19–28, 2021. 30 Strong! is a virtual event that will offer individuals and professionals from all industries the opportunity to connect, compete, and have fun while supporting Working Wardrobes’ clients. When you register and fundraise, your impact will provide career development services, training and tools to help the people in our community receive the Power of a Paycheck.

In addition to supporting five additional charities throughout the year, TLD Law will celebrate its 60th Anniversary by hosting client appreciation events in each of its offices, as well as a golf tournament and client event at Old Ranch Country Club in Seal Beach, CA on April 19th.

The firm’s Downey office can be reached at 877-923-0971. Additional office locations include: Irvine, Long Beach, and Beverly Hills. TLD Law will share information about its anniversary events on its website www.tldlaw.com and welcomes you to learn more about its history, services and mission.
