Thomas Brady Jr. was Korean War veteran

DOWNEY - Thomas L. Brady Jr., a Korean War veteran, passed away March 26 at his Downey home where he had resided since 1965.Brady was a contractor and owner of T&J Plumbing. He was formerly a longtime member of First Baptist Church of Downey, and was a member of the Whittier Area Community Church when he died. He was an Eagle Scout, and belonged to Scoutmaster Troop 433. He was a veteran of the Marine Corp. Reserves, and served with the Coast Guard during the Korean War. Funeral services were held March 20 at the Whittier Area Community Church, with Pastor William Ankerberg officiating. A graveside service took place at Rose Hills in Whittier. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Loretta Jean Brady, and family.
