August 3, 1930 - March 26, 2018

Theodore Clifford Heyer, 87, was born on August 3, 1930 in Englewood, Colorado and with the love of his family by his side, Ted peacefully went to the Lord on March 26, 2018 in Cerritos, California.

With hard working hands, Ted was an Electrical Foreman in the Electrical Construction industry for over 40 years. Ted was a veteran of the United States Army and earned an Honorable Discharge for his years bravely fighting for our freedom.

Ted was a devoted husband, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle, and brother, and he will be remembered by his family and friends for his passion, humor and joy of life.

Ted leaves behind his loving family: Wife and best friend for over 67 years, Mary Heyer of Downey, California, Son, David Curtis Heyer (Cyndi) of Brea, California, Son, Gary Martin Heyer (Fran) of Indiana, Daughter, Sandy McCaughan (Jeff) of Downey, California, six loving grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren with one on the way in July, Sister, Sandy Johnson (Robby), as well as several other family members and friends who loved him and will miss him deeply.

A Memorial Service will be held on April 27, 2018 at the First Baptist Church of Downey in the small chapel at 11:00 am with a reception immediately following in the Fellowship Hall.
