Tesla Motors, through the City of Downey, donated 100 Tesla Roadster remote-controlled cars toys to local charities this week. The toys arrived at City Hall on Wednesday and will be distributed to the TLC Family Resource Center, PTA HELPS, Angel Tree, the Downey Police Officers' Association and the Downey Firemen's Association. "We are extremely thankful and appreciate Tesla's generosity," Mayor Anne Bayer said in a statement.
