Teen, 15, charged with murder

NORWALK - A 15-year-old boy was arrested and charged with murder after he allegedly shot another man to death last week.Sheriff's deputies were at Ramona Park at about 5:30 p.m. on July 12 to investigate a report of a man with a knife when they heard gunshots coming from nearby Pontlavoy Avenue. As deputies canvassed the area, they found an 18-year-old man who had been shot several times. He was transported to a hospital and pronounced dead. The victim was not identified. Deputies searched the area and found the 15-year-old suspect hiding under a parked vehicle. He was arrested and booked at the Norwalk Sheriff's Station for murder. The shooting is believed to be gang-related. Anyone with additional information about the shooting is asked to call detectives at (323) 890-5500.
