Taste of Downey to have beer garden, art and more

DOWNEY - Tickets are now on sale for the Taste of Downey Arts & Wine Festival, taking place Sept. 20 in the Civic Center.This year's Taste of Downey - now in its third year - will feature several local restaurants, an art show featuring work from Downey artists, a contained beer and wine area, and live entertainment by classic rock group The Answer. Tickets are $20 and include 10 "tastes" from participating restaurants. The price increases to $25 on the day of the event. Anyone who purchases tickets before Aug. 25 will be entered into a raffle to win two show tickets for the 2012-13 season at the Downey Civic Theatre.
