Suonghong Phan Lobato

February 10, 1954 - March 10, 2020

Suonghong Phan Lobato was born on February 10, 1954 in Vietnam to Quynh Phan. She entered into eternal rest on March 10, 2020 in Downey, California at the age of 66.
Suong was intelligent and a determined individual that loved her family dearly, and was committed to her work as a USDA Investigator in Food Inspections for 31 years. She was a devout Catholic, with a strong faith, which gave her great comfort throughout her illness.
Suong loved spending time with her family, especially with her grandchildren. Her hobbies included traveling, volunteering, and raising orchids. She enjoyed going to Las Vegas and Pala Casino to play the slots, and vacationing in Hawaii, since it made her feel like being home in Vietnam. She was an active member of the Women’s Guild of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church and the Secretary of The Society of Saint Vincent de Paul.
Suong leaves behind her loving husband, David W. Lobato of Downey, CA, her daughter, Hong Loan Hull (and her husband, Tim) of Downey, CA, her son, Quan Nguyen (and his wife, Debbie) of Covina, CA, her son, Phan David Nguyen of San Diego, CA, her daughter, KieuMy Nguyen of Long Beach, CA, and her son, Duybao Nguyen of Fountain Valley, CA. She also leaves behind 7 grandchildren, and her mother, Quynh Phan of Norwalk, CA, as well as many other family and friends who will greatly miss her.
