Suicide walk Oct. 23

SANTA MONICA - The Los Angeles County Out of the Darkness Walk to benefit suicide prevention will take place Oct. 23 in Santa Monica.Thousands of walkers are expected to help raise money for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, which funds research and education programs to prevent suicide. Check-in for the walk begins at 7:45 at Santa Monica City Hall. The event's MC is Gary Bryan of K-EARTH 101.
