Students raise money for UNICEF

DOWNEY - Students in the B10 classroom at Carpenter Elementary and their teachers, Mrs. Ostermann and Mrs. LeMonnier, collected $153.58 for UNICEF during Halloween trick-or-treating, the school announced."This shows Character Counts in action by practicing 'caring' for others!," said principal Ruth Hesketh. UNICEF, also known as the United Nations Children's Fund, supports needy kids around the world.
