Stray Rancho cats need homes
DOWNEY - Local animal lovers are searching for permanent homes for about 70 cats set to be displaced due to demolition work on the abandoned south campus of Rancho Los Amigos National Rehabilitation Center.The property, owned by the County of Los Angeles, has been empty for years and is home to dozens of stray cats. Volunteers have successfully relocated more than 60 cats, but another 60-70 felines remain.
