Story Time returns to library

DOWNEY – After a brief holiday hiatus, Story Time returns to the Downey City Library next week. Preschool Story Time will be held Tuesday at 10:30 a.m., with a bilingual Story Time Wednesday, also at 10:30 a.m.

Baby and toddler Story Time are Saturday, Jan. 10, at 9:15 a.m. All programs are held in the library’s Cormack Room.

“Reading a book is a magical experience at any age but esxpecially for children,” the library said in a statement. “It is never too early to introduce them to books. Story Time provides a great start to preparing your children for kindergarten and school.

“Join us for some exciting stories, silly songs, and loads of fun.”
