'St. Louis' musical opens Oct. 31

LONG BEACH - "Meet Me in St. Louis" will open the 57th season of Musical Theatre West beginning Oct. 31 at the Carpenter Performing Arts Center in Long Beach."Meet Me in St. Louis" is based on the movie starring Judy Garland. The musical makes use of lavish costumes and Victorian sets, and includes the musical numbers, "The Boy Next Door," "The Trolley Song," "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas" and "Under the Bamboo Tree."
