South Gate's Nellie Macias mourned

SOUTH GATE –  Nellie Macias, of South Gate, passed away Jan. 7 in Los Angeles. 

She was born in Texas on Sept. 21, 1931 but called California home since she was a young child. She was a longtime resident of South Gate. 

She is survived by her family, Irene Spathes (daughter), Betty Rezendez (daughter), Raymond and Lily Palma (son and daughter in-law), Vivian and Robert Corlew (daughter and son in-law), Anthony and Keith Aleshire-Rezendez (grandson and grandson in-law) and many other family members and friends.
