Mayor Roger Brossmer recognized Soroptimist International of Downey at the Oct. 23 City Council meeting for their efforts in bringing awareness to breast cancer and domestic violence to the community.Brossmer presented Soroptimist president Giggy Saab with two proclamations for Breast Cancer Awareness Month and for domestic violence awareness.
