Sister Cities luau in South Gate

SOUTH GATE - The 14th annual barbecue and luau scholarship fundraiser will take place Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at American Legion Park in South Gate.Guests are invited to wear their favorite Hawaiian outfit and enjoy food, door prizes, raffles, and a horseshoe tournament. Cost for adults is $20. Children under 12 are $5. All donations are tax deductible and benefit the U.S./Mexico Sister Cities Association. For more information, call Ralph Mundia at (714) 777-3598.
