Silent auction to benefit Friends of Downey City Library
DOWNEY — Bids are now being accepted in a silent auction with proceeds benefiting the Friends of the Downey City Library.
Bidding ends at 12 pm on Nov. 27; bids can be placed inside the Friends Bookstore located at the Downey City Library.
Auction items include:
“The Book of Christmas,” Neil Philip; and “The Little Big Book of Christmas,” Lena Tabori. Illustrations of holiday and winter scenes adorn collections of stories, recipes, carols, poems, and more that capture the spirit of Christmas. Minimum bid: $12.
