Sigfredo Alba

Born August 23, 1928 in Bogota, Colombia. Passed away on August 27, 2017 in Norwalk, California. Immigrated to Brooklyn, New York in 1956. Moved to Downey in 1962. Worked 19 years for Consolidated Leasing Corp which became National Car Rental. Resigned from his position as Vice President to dedicate himself full time to his independent tax practice known as A&B Business Services, then Fred Alba’s Rapid Tax which he sold to his youngest son John Alexander Alba, EA/CAA in 1997. The 53 year practice continues today under the name Alba Professional Services/ H&R Block in the City of Norwalk. Fred was a champion dancer, 300 bowler and a world traveler. Survived by his wife of 67 years Doris Alba, six adult children, Carlos (Dina), Fred Andrew (Rosie) Myriam Telles (Rod) , Marilyn Kazlor, Douglas Alba, and John Alexander Alba (Deborah). All his children are professionals. 17 grandchildren and 32 great grandchildren. A tremendous legacy. Haber vividó una vida con “MUCHO SABOR”
