Samantha Madrid finishes Air Force basic training

DOWNEY – Air Force Airman Samantha A. Madrid graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland in San Antonio. She completed an eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.

Madrid is the daughter of Tina Reyes, of Downey, and Albert Madrid, of Norwalk. Her husband is Alberto Carapia.

She is a 2012 graduate of Warren High School.
