Saab makes appointments to city boards

DOWNEY - Newly-elected Councilman Alex Saab appointed half a dozen residents to various boards and committees last week.Among his appointments were Dan Latham and Sally Nunez to the Emergency Preparedness Committee; Alex Gaytan and Ricardo Perez to the Green Task Force; Lars Clutterham to the Public Works Committee; and Blanca Rochin to the Recreation and Community Services Commission. Meanwhile, Councilman Luis Marquez appointed Steve Perez to the Green Task Force.
